Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly-motivated Full-stack Developer to join our growing healthcare startup. As a Full-stack Developer, you will work alongside a small team of experienced developers and contribute to the development of our platform. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and help revolutionize the healthcare industry. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong foundation in software development, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and a desire to learn and grow in their role. This is a contract position with hourly compensation, with option to advance into a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to design and develop new features and functionalities for our healthcare platform.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, dart, golang.
• Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of the platform.
• Contribute to the development of our mobile application, ensuring it is user-friendly and responsive.
• Work with the team to ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to security considerations that protect patient data.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and scalability.
• Continuously learn and stay up to date with new technologies and trends in the industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development.
• Comfortable with Linux, git, and terminal-based editors such as vim, emacs.
• Experience with programming languages including Python, JavaScript, golang
• Experience with back-end development frameworks such as Django, Flask, REST.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of docker - should be able to inspect docker containers, debug logs, and build small-footprint containers from scratch.
• Knowledge of protobufs, grpc or another rpc framework, or basic understanding of distributed systems.
• Familiarity with API development.
• Ability to write HTML/CSS is strongly preferred.
• Experience in healthcare software development and familiarity with HIPAA compliance is preferred.

Pay: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour
